When are you going fully electric?

Had my model 3 long range a year now. Averaged exactly 250wh/mile (4miles per kwh) over that time which I'm quite happy with. It's averaged 2p/mile over 13,000 miles, predominantly on octopus agile with four supercharger trips and a bunch of cheap work charging (10p/kwh). 4mm all round left on...

My dad owned this car He bought it off the first 'owner' (who bought it off Vauxhall after press duties were done) - and sold it back to said first owner for £17.5k after a few years. Not sure if that's who's now selling it again but they've not lost anything! It was immaculate when it left...

    Virgin Media UHD

I've got it, quite pleased with it. LG77CX. I found dynamic tone mapping was needed for brightness in a lit room, but that was crushing blacks and had other issues. More tv than the box. Worst thing is that the box can't keep up with fast forward. Gets into a right mess.

When are you going fully electric?

None of that SUV lot are going to get much over 3m/kwh. No aero and too heavy. We have a fleet of 1000 or so where I work and there are some woeful real world figures around, mainly linked to SUVs. ID4 seem particularly poor with the 55 battery, seen some struggle to do 150 miles over the last...

    Road Tripping in the USA!

Hi Slightly different but looking for a more 'interesting' family holiday next summer (mid July) and thinking of a mini fly drive West coast trip. Will have a 7 year old and 4 year old with us. Aim is to do a mix of fun stuff for them (disney, universal, perhaps one or two others) as well as...

Audi A4 black edition estate about to go back. Been paying 220/m on a 9+23 Prior had an octavia VRS for 125/m on a 9+23 Those days are gone! Looking at EV on company scheme seems to be the way to go with the tax upside

    Condensation in bathroom

Issue is we've a converted attic so getting the cabling up for the switch would be hard work :(

    Condensation in bathroom

We have similar issues and a rediculous duct run to the outside in the attic rood. Would an option be an extractor through the wall straight to the outside?

    Is Bi-Amping Snake-oil?

Bi amp can definitely be worth while. More power more headroom more isolation etc. Bi wire (same setup, more wires) is more snake oil territory

What is your iPhone battery health (and how old)?

Mainly wired here and overnight is on an old 10w ipad charger. I do notice it gets hot charging in the car whilst simultaneously running Google maps / music and carplay over cellular which might not help.

What is your iPhone battery health (and how old)?

12 pro about 6 weeks after launch, 83% Ouch. Looking to upgrade but it’s noticeable how bad it is now. Gets hammered all day and night doing teams calls browsing music CarPlay etc so not surprised tbh

    *** Xbox Series X|S - General Discussion Thread ***

I used to run it on PC at 1800p and it definitely looked better but this still looks great and runs exceptionally well. The TV is absolutely insane. I got it from John Lewis in the clearance for £1999 which is a steal for a 77 inch OLED with 120hz and VRR. I'd rather play xbox on this than a...

Bean to Cup Coffee Machines 2021

I have the barista pro and took me a good few months to finally get the process down. It's now quite a nice feeling though, apart from flat whites which I struggle with there isn't anywhere in town that does a coffee as good as I can do at home. For those comparing the BE and the pro the dual...
