Hmm, the FAQ linked on that page is not that conclusive. Sounds like the cooler can only just cope and the ambient temperature will likely be higher as it will be sitting in a kit rack. I think I need to get some rack cooling too

Good point...I would not overclock by default but I wonder if that is a bit too tame for the processor. I really have been lazy and got the best without worrying about the size of cooling before. This mini ITX case is a challenge!

Hi, I've been looking around for a slim pc to go into a rack on a shelf (doesnt have to be rack mounted) and have good cooling as there is a fair bit of kit around it. Looking for decent power (i5/i7), memory (8mB min) and graphics (4Mb min) with upgrade potential (no onboard) in particular...

Oops.....got the OEM version of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit...but the key works for any version of Windows 7 so I just downloaded the 64 bit and created a bootable USB. Phew!

Ok....so now I'm paranoid about my PSU I guess I need to return it..wonder if Maplin does a refund...haven't actually used the PSU yet and got it 2 weeks ago Thanks for the advice.

I know lots of people here seem to like the M4....but I wondered if the much lower write (than read) speed was a good thing. I am looking at the OCZ Vertex 3 instead because the read speed is comparable but the write speed is much faster

Hmm, not storage per se but other games where performance not so much of an issue and pontentially media such a movies and music which will be streamed around the house. I would love to go SSD for everything but cost IS an issue.
