I’ve got a new M3 coming today to replace my late 2011 MBP.
Currently I have a Time Machine back up but haven’t been able to update the OS for years because of hardware limitations (presumably) so am running High Sierra.
My question is can I run and install my Time Machine back up on to the new...
Had very good experience with Osmo. Good range of colours and coverage is good (for what I needed).
If it is for a house you should consider linseed paint as it penetrates the wood and will likely last longer than conventional paint. Colour palette may be somewhat limited if you want something...
The thing with NHBC is that every trade should at least know about it and if you tell them it’s one of their standard details they ‘should’ take notice.
I don’t think it really matters that you’re not pursuing a warranty claim through them for the work the fact you can tell them it’s a basic...
NHBC advise flashings “should be tucked 25mm into a brick joint and wedged in place at not more than 450mm centres, or a minimum of one per step for stepped flashings”

Without spending huge sums of money I’d like to replace it with something braided, 0.5-ish m long...
You’re probably right, perhaps it was the doors. The price alone implies it’s unlikely to be solid wood. In any case we were happy with it, 5.5k vs 18 from the others.
I realise you’re asking about DIY kitchens but Better kitchens were fully assembled, 18mm solid wood carcass.
Full disclosure: I don’t work for better kitchens, was just very happy with what we got, at a fraction of the price of Wickes or Homebase.
We had a very successful experience a few years ago from better kitchens. Got a design from Wickes and got BK to price up the same units. They also do handleless.

You could use heavy heavy duty brackets which are long enough to give support to a shelf running along the wall toward the door, with the bracket itself attached to the masonry wall.
For info I got these for our office although I have bought additional brackets as the ones it came with...
