Thanks to you both, that's good to hear.
Now i have a problem, the other case i had my eye on has just been reduced to £60, the ThermalTake S300, not sure i can resist those big 200mm fans though!
Hello! I'm pretty sure this is going to my new case but i just have a few questions before clicking that buy button.
I've noticed a few people mention the 200mm fans making a clicking noise, is this a fault or something that could be fixed with rubber fan mounts?
Probably getting the MSI X470...
a lot to think about isn't there
Atleast i have plenty of time to decide on what to buy so there's no rush. Think i'll concentrate on getting the speakers first, then the TV and look at the amp situation after.
I've ruled out getting the Tannoy Arena's, with stands added on top the...
Thanks for the replies so far :)
Think i'm pretty much set on getting the Cambridge Audio but for arguments sake lets say the size wasn't any issue, what would be the best amps to look at in the region of £300-400?
ODA those MA's do look very nice, will read up on them over the weekend.
Have also posted this over at the avforums but hoping to get as much advice as possible so asking here aswell (sorry ;) )
My current setup :
Denon AVR-2801 (AV Amplifier)

PS3
Xbox 360

I'm using mine on the 2405 and so far it's damn good, don't know why but it looks better than using component on my XB360.
Using an official PS2 lead, tempted to get the new official PS3 one but reports so far are that the quality isn't any different.
Hello,
After a few tests i've come to the conclusion that one of my Corsair sticks is faulty, see http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17697411
Now i'm slightly worried about having the same RAM again.
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) @ £173.89...
Right i figured out the voltage and timings and still no change, definitley one of the sticks is faulty, just doesn't make sense otherwise.
RMA it is! :(
Ok the Vista install went fine, activated and ready to go.
At work now but any chance you could explain for me how i go about doing this? sorry to be a pain but not delved in the Bios in the past very often.
Been reading quite a lot of similar reports with RAM not working properly with this...
That could take a while as i've got to install Vista
Just tested the other stick and i got no display again so i'm thinking i'll have to RMA them.
Ok possible progress i hope or my mobo is broken
Before i had each RAM stick in the 1st and 3rd modules (read this was the best?) have just put a single stick in the 2nd module and we now have a picture!
So is this ok or is the module on the mobo broken?
Yep i have both the 24 and 4 pin connected, any reason to use the 8 pin?
First i had the 2 sticks in but then i tried it without (got beeps) then with 1 stick (no beeps), have tried both sticks.
