I remember when they showed it in that slot. There were big gaps between series as well from what I can recall even though the various series had been shown in the USA for years. Will have to watch them all again as I'm sure I missed out the odd episode here and there.

Which ATI 3870 card would you recommend? Is there much difference between a 3850 512MB and a 3870 512MB considering I will only play at 1280 by 1024. Not considering Nvidia anymore.

Yeah - it's looking like my first choice now and this card will be miles better than my current ATI x800XL.

The only real way to find out with your particular set up would be to buy a handful of cards and do some benchmark testing on them and keep the one with the highest rating. Obviously in reality that's not a possibility. Shame though. :D I'm still keen on the 4670 but a few people I have...

Prefer to buy new tbh, but this will push me over budget for a new 8800GT 512MB.

I'm quite tempted at the 4670 now. Decent blend of cost, performance and low power consumption. Definitely not going to rush into buying one.
