Intriguing but not surprising given how many quirks android has...
So what are the pros of the One X over the S3? Bear in mind I will probably root and install custom ROMs so Touchwiz vs Sense is moot.
The advert was great if they were selling a camera... for parachute jumpers!
So amazon are selling the white One X for 350, should I bite? It's the cheapest price from a reputable retailer.
Price is key here, the X+ is far too expensive for what it is.
Checked out some youtube videos, seems the battery can be quite hard to change even with tools (important as I like to keep phones for another two years).
Is this phone still worth buying? I've seen it go for new for around £350 from expansys etc but for 30 quid extra I could get a SGS3. I want a new phone by Christmas as I'll be giving my current SGS to someone.
Thanks for sharing those photos although it would've nice if you'd resized them!
I am hoping this makes it to UK release by Jan/Feb, my SGS is getting a bit old!
I'm afraid this is what you, myself and thousands of Nexus 4 fans are wanting to know. I missed out on the initial order by minutes though based on how the purchases was a lottery... let's just say I hope Google have learnt some lessons from the current fiasco!
The difference in 2G and 3G bandwidth can be vast, especially if you can get 3.5G.
On a good day you could probably get 100Kbit/s but 3G will hit easily ten to hundred times faster than that.
If you think 3G drains your battery, you should see what 4G can do!
I'm playing BF3 maxxed out except MSAA at x2 with a 660ti. Basically, if you can get one for about £220 then it's worthwhile (I sold my Borderlands 2 key for £20) but playing at 1080 res you don't really need to fork out 300 pounds.
Another 460 may be unwise because it will hit the 1GB VRAM...
