I want to save a specific video from WhatsApp into my Google photos. I've previously disabled the automatically backup option as it filled my Google photos with all sorts.
I can't see a simple option to do this, what am I missing?
Looking at the Octopus app, looks like I've been put on the November 2022 v1 tariff, and the December 2023 tariff I thought I would be on. Anyone else experienced this?
After reading about the tracker tariff on here I requested to switch over at 10pm last night. By 11:24pm last night they had switched me over, impressive.
Heating for the house is via a ASHP so the lower elec rate should help me save a decent chunk of money.
I've received a Ryobi reciprocating saw as an Xmas present, but with no battery or charger. There's a huge price difference between the official and non official batteries for the Ryobi range. Does anyone have any experience of using the cheaper ones? Is there much difference in quality/performance?
Thanks for the advice everyone. Had some time this morning so had a go at taking up the other board, adding some additional support then relaying on top of the joists. No more creaks . Might put some wood filler in the damaged areas of the board later on.
Boards lifted
Additional support...
I'm the process of redecorating a room in my 1980's house. Whilst doing this, I decided to fit acoustic insulation between the joists and tackle a creaky floor board that's bugged me since we moved in. After lifting the board, the problem seems to be due to cowboy heating engineers notching out...
I'm currently with Outfox the Market (on standard variable tariff) who I've requested on a number of occasions to install a smart meter at my house. However, each request is met by a "please contact us if you want a smart meter install", which is very frustrating. I'm therefore minded to switch...
Thanks for the heads up! I managed to get a 25L version from Argos.
What's the general consensus on positioning of the unit? I've placed mine on the landing next to the bathroom. How much clearance does the rear intake need? Is it worth moving it around the house periodically?
I've been waiting for weeks for the MeacoDry Arete® One 20L to come back into stock as it seems to be the dehumidifier in that size with the best reviews. Stores are now quoting a 7 week wait so I need another instead. The electriQ 20 Litre looks comparable. Has anyone had any experience with...
Are they taking out the existing slab and then pouring a new one before fitting an UFH system? Considering something similar myself. What sort of SQM have they quoted?
The company I work for, work every Christmas with charities for less fortunate children to purchase gifts for them on Christmas Day.
The tag I've been given is simply "Superheros", the boy is 4 years old. My kids are a lot younger than that so I don't really know what Superheros they would be...
Thanks all, why on earth would they not plasterboard the walls? It's an 1980's house, not exactly "old".
Think I'm going to batten it out myself and insulate the external walls whilst I'm at it.
I've been stripping some horrible wall paper lining which has been painted in my sons room. This is the first room we are renovating in this house since we bought in April.
After taking a shelf off, some damaged blockwork came out which seemed to reveal that instead of plater on plasterboard...
We moved into our "forever" home in April which requires complete renovation. After some planning we are starting to some basic decor work before the extension next year.
I need to change all of the existing non LED bayonet light fittings to LED bayonet fittings, is there a particular brand...
I've recently moved house which has a really odd shaped area of grass at the rear, and two lawns either side of the front driveway. My current Bosch corded mower was fine for my old house with a rectangular garden, however, the cord is a right pain in this new one.
I'm on the lookout for a...
