Ah ok - I incorrectly assumed the independent clock generator applied to the cpu and memory for some reason, not just the cpu. Makes sense now.

Hey, would you be willing to share the bios settings you used for your overclocks? More curious on specific bios settings needed to undertake / optimise the overclock, rather than the bus speed change itself. Or are there any good guides for this specific motherboard you know of?

It's slightly ironic that the longer you keep a set of regs the closer teams should get, as it's a law of diminishing returns and teams play catch up. The biggest dominances often comes right after a reg change as inevitably one team optimises a design quicker than the others.
