I was wondering if the Samsung Neo G7 is worth buying for £720.
Looking for a monitor with excellent contrast as I've been spoiled by my current TV.
The DWF is cheaper but probably less versatile and isn't 4k. I thought the G7 would be better for doing non-gaming tasks but the curve might...
As mentioned earlier, the VA model I tried was surprisingly good with really great contrast. So I was thinking IPS with it's weaker contraast might not produce great results even with a lot more zones.

This certainly looks atrocious. However, the Va one I tried was surprisingly good. Can't compete with Oled but an alright alternative. The ips one here was unusable

I've tried two AOC miniled monitors. Despite the IPS one having a lot more zones than the VA and being lmost twice the price, the VA looked miles better. The contrast looked amazing with local dimming on strong and slight blooming.
