World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

My CX is holding up well but i've seen people have issues with dead pixels more than burn-in.

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Be interesting to see if Dell replace it given they recently kept telling people it's limited to 1 replacement only for burn-in

Is the Samsung Neo G7 worth it for £720?

Hi, I was wondering if the Samsung Neo G7 is worth buying for £720. Looking for a monitor with excellent contrast as I've been spoiled by my current TV. The DWF is cheaper but probably less versatile and isn't 4k. I thought the G7 would be better for doing non-gaming tasks but the curve might...

Is this expected blooming for a MiniLED monitor?

As mentioned earlier, the VA model I tried was surprisingly good with really great contrast. So I was thinking IPS with it's weaker contraast might not produce great results even with a lot more zones. You're right about the Alienware warranty, I had this confirmed by Dell's technical staff...

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

This was through live chat so not as concrete as the Dell policy. However, I've had it reconfirmed the Dell policy only covers 1 replacement 100%.

Is this expected blooming for a MiniLED monitor?

This certainly looks atrocious. However, the Va one I tried was surprisingly good. Can't compete with Oled but an alright alternative. The ips one here was unusable

Is this expected blooming for a MiniLED monitor?

Hello, I've been working my way through quite a few monitors this year, trying to find the most suitable option. Some time ago, I got an miniLED ultrawide from AOC which has an IPS panel and 1152 zones. Is the blooming in the game menus expected for an IPS MiniLED? I tried a VA with much...

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Apparently the G8 OLED has burn-in warranty too. "Going back, please be informed that burn-in on the OLED monitor is covered by warranty as long as it is categorized to be manufacturing defect, and there is no physical damage on the device."

    Understanding local dimming zones

I've tried two AOC miniled monitors. Despite the IPS one having a lot more zones than the VA and being lmost twice the price, the VA looked miles better. The contrast looked amazing with local dimming on strong and slight blooming. The IPS model had awful blooming displaying logos and the...

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Nope, i don't believe so but i returned mine a while ago. I've been tempted to buy another but the warranty is key for my peace-of-mind.

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Quick update regarding the warranty. DELL told me: "We notice that you reached out to our Dell support team in order to receive further information. Please be aware that, per policy, the monitor with the burn-in issue will only be replaced once. You can email us a picture or a video if the...
