I had something like this happen with my Keyboard. Turns out it was having my phone too close to my keyboard that caused it to cut out.

Plugged in another GPU and it worked. Guess I'm in the market for a new GPU :D

Yeah, it was left in. I can't see any visible damage, but I've tried the card in the other PCIe slot and it gives the same problem. The most common suggestion online is to update my BIOS but it's already at the latest non beta release.

If £900 is your upper limit and you need everything. You may not get something that will run those games modded a lot.

In fact, I bet the money saved on less ram, the SOC and the PSU and CPU would be enough to cover 2x 980TI for the same price. Also, I went for the 5820K because I cant imagine you'll that much difference with a decent OC and it saves your £150 or so.
