Done some more testing with my friend, and when using 2 modules in dimm2 it gets to speed 3600, but when using dimm1 it only can get to 3200. Does this mean dimm1 channel is faulty? and again when using all 4 modules in dimm1 and dimm2 you only get 3200, it looks like dimm1 is slower for some...

So think I've sorted it, I'm going 10400f for the 6 Cores, got the EVGA 970 4GB, and Asus mATX h510m-a motherboard, and paring it with some 3200 DDR4 ram 8GB.

So I've managed to get a EVGA 4GB 970 SC for £90, so CPU next, what will. Best pair with that for cheap I'm between a 10100f and a 10500f, about £50 difference, is it worth between them? I can get a 10100f and Asus mATX h510m-a motherboard for £110 new for both, so pairing that with a 970.
