Strange thing is it was fine for a week until I added in the Asus M2 adaptor and needed to use the newer beta bios , suggests the beta bios is flaky , I will leave sytem in standy but with power on @ wall socket tonight and see if that makes any diff. hmmm strange things occurring here :( Installed the M" drive into the Asus adaptor no problem , booted system and black screen after initial Gigabyte screen ... tried to access the BIOS , nothing just black screen , so tried F12 and was able to choose the card as boot device and booted into...

I can confirm , downloaded latest Win 10 installer and used my old win 7 key to install a fresh copy , works a treat but did also put the drivers from gigabyte site on the same usb stick and use them during install :cool:

all up and running here , took mine to 4.2Ghz and happy at that , have found my case fans are louder than those on the AIO cooler system so far Well pleased and grateful for the special deal price :) thanks again OcUK & Gibbo

Finally got my bundle , DPD must be struggling as it turned up in a taxi , nearest depot is 30 miles away :O

question is , can you install OS using the M2 slot , then at a later date add in the adapter for speed boost and moving the ssd without reinstalling OS I hope so as thats the way I am gonna do it as bits arrive today except the adapter card which I ordered seperately
