I built my SFF PC 4 years ago and apart from a failed PSU it has ran fine, love how small and quiet it is. Only thing i feel that lets it down a tad is the small 64Gb SSD in it so looking to replace that with maybe a 500Gb SSD, but was just wondering if it would be worth changing anything...

Thanks for the help guys, think I've found the problem. Tried my psu in the other pc and same happens, resets itself after an hour or so. Any recommendations on a new psu? Seasonic x-series 660w is the one that died on me, and a corsair psu in the other pc. Thinking Enermax, never used to...

Bios temps look fine, nothing of much use in the event viewer :-( Trying to get a loan of a psu to test

If I let it sit in the bios it's rock solid, will sit there all night. Voltages from bios ATM CPU 1.120v 3.3v -3.360v 5v - 5.000v 12v - 12.288v DRAM - 1.500v VCCIO - 1.050v CPU PLL - 1.800v PCH - 1.00v

Both sticks tested separately and still resets. Wazza, don't think it's the M4 cause I took all the hdd's out and booted from Hirens boot cd and still did the same. Motherboard, CPU or psu are the only constants it keeps failing with. Can any of them cause this sort of problem. Another...

I'll try and give you as much detail on this as possible. Build myself a nice sff rig a couple of years ago which ran faultlessly from day one but started playing up the other day. The problem is after a startup from off the computer will be fine for about an hour then windows would start...

Nice :) The Q08 was my first choice but couldnt find any black ones in stock anywhere at the time i was building so went for the Q011 instead (see last page of SFF gallery thread for pics).

Just a quick Q, Used WD drives for many years without any hassles and looking for another storage drive for stuff i download and to backup my mp3's which are on a 1TB WD drive. So many 2TB WD drives about, which one should i go for?? Or is it worth looking further afield for another make...

It was ok once I got used to rerouting everything and took it one cable at a time. Being my first SFF build I didn't like bending wires into strange shapes but realise that's the norm lol Oh, one thing I do dread tho is if something goes wrong and I have to remove all the cable ties etc!
