Hey guys, it's been a long time since I posted here, I'm looking to upgrade / sidegrade my two GTX-780s to a single (Nvidia) card some point soon - SLI is good for the most part but can be more of an issue than not to be honest, single card is always more reliable.
I'm a big fan (pun not...
Tempted by another 500GB or so SSD to use for an additional linux distro, but haven't bought anything so far. Think I'd rather save my money for now, rainy days ahead.
I sent a few emails to IG at some point (back when I traded using a demo-account with them) and didn't get any responses, I'll look into CMC though - thought they were another Cyprus regulated firm but I guess not.
Anyone here use or has used XTB Trading? Thinking of opening an account with them, one of the few whom are actually regulated in the UK and not by Cyprus SEC (would never open with any firm who "regulates" with the latter).
How can I prevent the Films and TV program in Windows 10 from minimising when in full-screen mode when I click on a second display? It also pauses the film when minimising so preferably the solution should stop that from happening too.
Cheers :)
EDIT: hmmm strange, it doesn't minimise if I put...
In short, yes. Don't have time to write a long post but the next crisis coming has every chance of making 2008 look like a picnic. The problems are far worse now and there is very little monetary policy maneuvering left given that interest rates are already at record lows and now over $13tn in...
I see no point in retaliation. The whole purpose of Trident is to act as a deterrent, thus if Britain was wiped out by nuclear weapons then at that very moment it would've lost its mission - retaliating would just ensure further unnecessary annihilation.
Western leaders are very wrong to back Erdogan tonight, he will take this as acceptance of his draconian actions against his own country (particularly the secular media). That's not to say that the coup orchestrators are in the right, but Erdogan's government are most certainly not good guys here.
Not sure it's appropriate for Western Governments to come out in support of Erdogan, he is definitely not a good guy here. It is part of Turkey's constitution to allow the military to seize control from a leader who is taking too much power, which he has been doing.
Exactly, in the case of the balloon analogy the centre of expansion is not on the surface - extended that to the universe (and noting that this analogy is, of course, just a guideline and not precise) means that the "centre of expansion" lies outside of the universe itself. But "outside" in the...
As someone pointed out earlier, an expanding balloon or sphere is a good analogy - all points on the sphere expand but there is no "centre" of expansion. The centre of the inside of the sphere is not applicable as that would be "outside" of the universe in our analogy which makes no sense in...
Actually that's a bit of a misconception. When we say the universe is expanding, it does not mean it is expanding from a point outwards into "something", but rather all of space-time itself is expanding. To even consider it as expanding into "something" is erroneous as there is nothing "outside"...
Problem is that we have a fairly good understanding of both General and Special Relativity now and even have to account for the effect of the latter in spacecraft maneuvers and such. If we suddenly found that one of the most important underlying principles of SR (and GR to an extent), namely the...
