They should have priced it at MacBook / iPad Pro prices, no more than £1500 then there would be more interest but as it is I think it will flop. Apple don’t seem that confident in it either as they haven’t even given the uk a release date

Sim racing or flying is where vr really shines for me, the sooner the 5090 releases the better as the crystal has the display it just needs a more powerful gpu to take full advantage of it.

I really hope they make a quest pro 2, hopefully with crystal resolution and displayport connection too.

What a disappointment that is, so basically if you want ultra high end then the Varjo xr4 is the one to get. Really all quite pointless until we get even more powerful gpus though.

I wanted the beyond but the fixed ipd and individual face gasket put me off so I went for the crystal instead, well happy with it and I also have a quest pro for standalone and wireless pc vr. Both great headsets to be fair

Depends on your gfx card really as the higher the resolution the more performance needed

I won’t be able to do 2 races back to back as I have to leave for work at 9:30pm, I’ll just have to do the first race and then leave

How about the Varjo xr4 instead? Looks like it has amazing specs and it is a pc headset which includes controllers

Yes but it’s nothing like the AC one, extremely basic but you just drag and drop all the mods onto it and click apply

They are all from project cars 2 I think, I just downloaded every one that’s available and installed with the content manager
