@One More Solo I have the other set as well. Reality is I won't use them either so you can have them anyways. Us guys been posting in this sub forum for years on end and have sold on the MM plenty. If someone who has nothing to do with our discussions here or the subforum wants to come in and...

Tenner plus postage? Think they are like £25-£30 to buy new so if it saves someone a tenner then keeps me and them happy I reckon? :)

https://www.crudproducts.com/roadracer-mk3/ I've used these in the past and I prefer them to the SKS Raceblades I have on the winter bike now. They just attach with super fancy velcro sticky stuff to your forks..... so literally just yank them off by hand when you want them off and then velcro...

Tacx bike. Sounds insane, but check the cranks are tightened up. I know of 2 people who have had the left crank come off mid ride and it's a known problem they come from factory not tightened. One guy has had 3 Tacx bikes all have the issue alone! The one guy I know is on his 5th tacx bike...

The categories are a joke. They are based on 20min power which is utterly useless and pointless on Zwift, 1-5min power and recent results need to be used for categorisation of individuals. But Zwift are not interested in sorting this out. You are expressing the main reasons I only recruit A...

I pair my Tickr on ANT+ via USB dongle on Windows 10. Never had an issue with it. I pair my Kickr as controllable trainer, power source and cadence over BLE.

May will be as fine a time as any. It's not AS busy, but we really don't have seasons up here now and it's mobbed with muppets all the time clogging up the roads. I had to pass 9 campervans coming north last night on the A9 as well as multiple caravanists. Avoid school holidays at all costs.

    Cycling The North Coast 500

Yeah that Black Isle one is silly, dunno how they managed that. There is a road linkup to be had there (we have a road race on a circuit on that very bit of road). It tried to make you turn right off the main road too late at "Newhall Mains" there. You'd have passed two right hand junctions...

I think most gels I consume are out of date and 99% of the time are fine. Just you wait! :p

Oh book hugely in advance. I live in a bungalow in a little quiet cul de suc in a small village on the NC500.... next door is a boggo bungalow in the street and it is booked solid on Air BnB even right now up until end of year. It's £600 for 5 nights in the thing and it's booked solid... makes...

    Cycling The North Coast 500

@Lethal` is spot on here regards the route. The GCN one is way better for on the bike the the "official NC500" route. Purely for that top right section of the map to be honest. Thurso>JoG>Berriedale area. I've ridden and time trialled on the A9 plenty of times and it is something I would...

    Cycling The North Coast 500

I live on the "NC500" and I supported my mate attempting the record on it last year so have decent knowledge of the thing. When are you planning to do it, month wise? 8 days is a long time but it all depends on what you want to achieve from it. Do you really want to take your time, spend more...

Pack dynamics 2.0 was even worse, 3.0 we using now is better but still has a lot of issues for sure. Especially on downhills in large packs at speed. 6.5 pulls would have taken us back across to front group for sure but every single person in the back of the split had someone in the front of...

The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

The split was silly. It happened in the descent and was buggy/artificial and made no sense. The half that got "dropped" were not on the limit at all it just bugged the hell out and that gap appeared and nobody could do anything. I was on the wrong side of it with guys who have even won PL races...
