I just reinstalled Windows and assumed Chrome would have kept the tracking cookies, it did not! RIP a few years of stats. Although, I've obviously seen more films since then, so perhaps I'll do better! I also didn't realise you could transfer stats.
I just got an email that Octopus are sending me a Home Mini. I like playing around with beta tech, so that's cool! I think with the Home Mini and the API I can feed a lot of data into Home Assistant.
For a third month running I had to ask Octopus for my electricity bill. They keep not billing me with the gas. They think they've fixed it now and gave me £30 credit. Not bad for about 3 mins worth of emailing!
The switch to the Tracker tariff from Agile has been great for me, thanks for those...
I assume you've tried rebooting? This happens to me occasionally and I just have to reboot.
I know that's not a fix, but nothing I've tried actually fixed the problem.
I walk a fine line. I have one coffee and 1 or 2 teas a day. Additionally, I'll allow myself 1 or 2 pre-workouts a week but never within 2 days of each other.
As it stands, I don't really notice anything if I go without caffeine on a day which I think is about right. I don't want to reach a...
I tend to use it whenever I need to buy and sell second hand tech. Sometimes if there's an ebay listing offer on I'll do that as well, but I tend to prefer the MM. I definitely think it's worth it.
Yes, it's exactly that. My server rack chugs along at 300w regardless of time of day. That doesn't include our PCs either. Also, our cooking times coincide with the peak hours, which means if we use the oven (electric) it gets pretty pricey. Just general stuff like that.
Thank you to those of you that mentioned the tracker tariff! It's much better for us than agile. We don't load balance at all, but our overall usage is high so the cheaper night time rates were still making it better value than any flexible or fixed tariffs. Tracker seems to be the sweet spot...
It's just my wife and I at home. We give presents to our family in general, but we don't really give each other presents. Just small token things to open on the day. The upside of our Christmas is the all the nice food, wines and movies. So I guess Christmas as a whole is a present to ourselves...
We've been on the Octopus agile since the summer and we don't really load shift either, both at home most the day so not much we can do about that. As of the most recent bill 15th Oct - 15th Nov, our average electricity unit was 23.7p kWh. Obviously under the 29.76p kWh 12 month fixed rate, but...
Does anyone know where to get hold of AMD torque screwdrivers for Epyc and Threadripper?
I know I can buy a torque set separately but they're rather expensive and overkill for the purpose.
Cheers.
I have a Pi4 2GB and a Pi3 1GB. I use the Pi4 I use as a test pattern generator for screen calibration. The Pi3 I use for odd projects here and there, it doesn't have a fixed use.
