Quick question here after skimming a fair few pages of this - are all these wait times etc for the initial batches sold? Or have there been drops here that have been available for people to purchase to get in the line. I havent really looked into it since day dot, and just wondering what the...
Not been about for a while on this thread so just having a catchup and congrats on all the changes mate. Really liking the vert GPU solution. I have been looking at alternatives as the Coolermaster bracket I have is too near the mobo - and it gets in the way of the RAM (which is the same type as...
How did you find the temps on CPU and CPU (When they were both in the loop ofc) with just the one 360 rad? I am about to go do my first attempt in this case and have been contemplating getting an O11D-XL for the extra space beneath the GPU, and additional space for larger blocks in horizontal...
Stumbled across this thread and its a great build. I've finally recently got a 144hz monitor and with the unlocked frames Im finding that the GPU temps are pretty high, so I'm thinking now of starting off watercooling with a GPU only build and extending to CPU where necessary.
Have the same...
if aimed at me then yes I believe you can RMA it. However there are no dead pixels on mine and I'm still trying to figure out if the glow is noticeable and makes an impact. If I'm having to think that much if its bad then its a good sign in my book. Will have another think over the weekend with...
For me, as per my sig, the Asus PB278Q. So size and colour not too bad, but 60hz only. Probably also why I am used to IPS glow etc too. I have yet to stand them up side by side to see the real diffferences, but part of me doesnt want to incase I start picking up negatives lol. But I would say...
yeah agree that the power lead is a bit short. Pretty odd thing to miss out really. Played a couple more hours of Control last night, and the clarity was great, even with all that goes on screen in that game. Was an enjoyable experience. Was playing in dimly lit room then, and did notice more...
Have only just set mine up - no marks on the box, packed well. Set it all up looked at the screen before booting up and happy to say that it was dirt/smear free etc. Plugged it in and booted up. Spent a few minutes just on the desktop to get used to the 60hz first. Then went in and tweaked some...
Brill - I think I will do the same. Will be my first switch to more than 60hz so wanting to see my system stretch it legs, and see if its smooth with Gsync/Variable Refresh Rate. I've got the latest NVidia driver installed, do you have to turn anything on to get VRR working?
Thats great to hear. Hoping mine is in as good condition as yours are! Colours wise, have you just left it on the standard Gamer 1 profile? Or are you using sRGB?
Same. Fingers crossed it turns up safe and sound. Trying to look around for firmware updates, and the only reference I can find is doing it through the software (which I wasnt going to install). Might just see how it is first before doing anything to it! Hoping I actaully get some time to hook...
Seeing as people are going to be getting some of these pretty soon, have been going through from the start of this thread to see if there were any useful posts, and this seems to be one. Will add any more if I find some.
That's good to hear. Do you know if this PO will cover all the existing preorders? I only ordered just before Christmas so pretty much at the back of the line. Would be good to set my expectations
Thanks.
That Morpheus looks interesting. For those that have it, has anyone seen the impact on the heating of other components? I only ask as I get a bit worried about VRM temps etc ever since the EVGA 1080 FTW debacle a while back. Currently have the 1080ti FTW3 so I am able to keep an eye on VRM and...
You could use something like https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html to check temps.
Does seem odd, especially with the case lighting not on either. Guess its tough to know without knowing the connections, but if they all plug into some controller, then there may be a problem with that...
