Imo when you're paying £281.60 for a GPU block you are being ripped off anyway, and with your eyes wide open. I would never pay that much for a single water cooling component!

I never use the paste that comes with it as it's never labeled so that makes it a bit of an unknown. I've used Alphacool Subzero this time.

Using a blower (or a can of compressed "air" - it's not air though but some other gas) is definitely an outside job. I recommend a blower though, those cans are expensive and wasteful.

If your motherboard has a 12V RGB header, and your block has a 5V Adressable RGB strip, they're not compatible. A search online suggests to me it's a 12V header on the motherboard, and the strip with 3 pins can only be adressable RGB, so no, doesn't sound like you can connect it.
