Hi so I’m starting to get my act together on a new build it’s going to be a work/gaming rig. Work wise I will be creating car concept art, photo/video editing etc and game wise I play everything really. I’m going to be doing this on a 32 inch 4K monitor, I’m not fussed about amd/intel/nvidia...
Also the whole kids thing saving the world is getting old now, in the 1st you had two adults piloting these big robots now adults cannot do it the token bad boy kids will? :o
If anyone can say how well Ryzen performs in games I’m certainly open to Am4 I know that both intel an Amd chips like fast ram so the savings will be on what I go for chip wise.

How long for? I was planning on purchasing start of Febuary.
I thought threadripper was more overkill for gaming, as for Am4 I thought the 8700k for gaming would be better than say a 1700/1800? I'm no fanboy so open to the idea of Amd
Hi so after selling off my old build I'm currently in the process of picking up parts for my new build trouble is I'm kinda stuck with what chip to go for so a little help please!
Option A) I can go 8700k build.
or
Option B) Looking on the MM/ known auction site pick up an older 6700k/7700k...
