    iirc the CAB2Es were variable. The CACJE more consistent - though your week number doesn't make sense to me. Decent 144s should easily go over 2.8 - a large proportion will go to 3.0 or better.     Pure acetone is ok - but if it's nail varnish remover it has additives and oils that leave a residue, hence the final pass with alcohol. At a pinch vodka will do instead of isopropyl - though it does seem a terrible waste :-P

    I vote San Diego. The Athlon 64 and S939 Opteron are both San Diego - you mightwant an Opteron instead (depending on price and if you want to overclock).

    You'd get the same grunt for less £££ by going for the Epox NF4 SLI or Ultra board and an overclocked opteron 144. Use the money on a hotter graphics card. I think that would buy you better games perfomance on what you play.

    Resetting the BIOS Just had this answered in another thread - but it will be useful in this guide I think... On many boards there is a jumper you can use to reset the BIOS, this might be called 'CMOS memory clearing header' or something similar. Check your mobo manual for instructions...
