i had the same problem with a 290x, its a fault with the memory by the looks of it, the undervolting fix is a sign its on its way out
you will get away with undervolting it by that much then in while it will need to be reduced further to function until it just dies altogether
it might take a...
i just went and picked this up
after the reviews on bad panels it put me off but i went for it anyway. i might have just got lucky zero dead pixels and backlight bleed is non existent
so far its amazing, only let down is the pointless hdr mode it doesnt work in the slightest. ive always stuck...
there is a article from pcgn up talking about bfv atm - "Again we were capturing the game resolution at 1080p and while we couldn’t bring the fps counter up in the show demo version, we’d bet it wasn’t hitting 60fps either"
thats with the flagship 2080ti, people where also saying that the TR...

right guys bit of a possible issue with vega
having a major issue since yesterday, pc shut down and then was hanging on the windows screen, after loads of tests to see what was going on i narrowed it down to the gpu drivers and the chipset drivers. i could install the gpu driver and all would...
so with the new driver the fan is now doing what it should be but here is a new thing now that the memory is just tanking randomly while playing games, its not thermal throttling as you can see peak temp was 76. there is no tweaking applied and its set to balanced, games are unplayable fps just...
yesterday was the first time i had time to sit down for the day and put in some hours gaming, what i did notice was that regardless of what setting on auto fan i put in the fan wouldnt ramp up past 1000rpm resulting in the pc to shut down after a few hours of battlefield, it happened 3 times...
not only does it have less vram it also less specs than the 6gb, the tmu count is definitely lower 72 for the 3gb and 80 for the 6gb if memory serves me correctly, there is also some other stuff different
so its not just vram that is different they are also spec'd different also
you need to chill out a bit dude, matt isnt in control of anything that your pointing at
if you have frustration then return the card or else direct your anger elsewhere, things will get better over time as said loads of times before
i dont think anyone here wants to read it, this a owners...
see thats why you do some research.. i got a new dp cable in the same shipment as the card, tbh i dont think you can call yourself a enthusiast unless you have a box full of connectors and cables for any situation :)
they have new software in the works, when it will land who knows but here is a sample of what to expect from it, my guess is that the next big driver update for vega will be attached with the release of this
fairly impressed with the card atm, i was expecting a lot more heat from it also, i have it on balanced atm and with benchmarks im capping out at 74c with the stock fan profile 99% usage
a lot more messing to be done but so far im really liking it
epic have already said that vulkan will become their default api, valve said in a statement not so long ago that to counter microsoft store and their w10/dx12 lock out they are pushing hard on devs to support vulkan, its why most games now are porting and a lot of games in dev now will support...
vulkan is the future dx12 isnt, valve have said that they are backing it from now on to get around the windows monopoly its why most devs are taking it on board, with the consoles being build by amd and xbox pushing dx12 to get the most out of the hardware its only a matter of time before it...
