Ok thanks will look into it, seems each store is somewhat different. I couldn't even load the Argentine store earlier on my switch. And couldn't use either my credit card or paypal on the US store. Will check out the Russian and SA stores!

Does anyone buy digital games from the global stores? Any tips? do you set up an additional profile and use a fee free card to purchase the games? I believe you only need another email address? Don't even need a postal address to get up and running?

Sorry, yes of course the system notifications, clock, wifi etc are up there. The only app I can find on my device that uses the space with something other than a border/shading is google photos. Which when you zoom is displays part of the image either side of the notch. So from what I can see...

Just got a honor play, nice device. Question regarding the notch. What am I missing? I understand from the hardware point of view why it is necessary, but does android (8.1) utilise it in anyway? Apps either black it out, or fill it with the apps native back ground colour. Haven't found...

Quartz, when you say the scanner is not duplexed do you mean that it can't a) scan both sides in one feed or that b) it needs to scan one side and flip it over to scan the second, or that c) it simply doesn't have a function to scan two sides of a document.
