Just picking this topic back up again after watching some YouTube videos. Does anyone have experience or can recommend freecodecamp?..... is this a recognised course within the industry and is it tailored for complete beginners?
I want to try my hand at coding after many years of being sat a computer and not knowing where to begin to try and understand code. I have given it a bash in the past but given up very quickly. I have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS and can get my way around getting a website together but...
I can relate to this post. I just turned 40 in June and I don't why but in my mind I am now much older and feel like I have lost contact with friends and become a bit of a recluse. I have just started a new job though and trying to look on the positive side of things. Planning on signing up to...
Not at the moment no, I would just like to design it in Photoshop for now and will look at a vector version later on. I have just been out of the loop with Photoshop and tutorials, not touched it in well over 7 years and not Sure where to find a tutorial to get text effect and figure the font.
Hi Folks,
Been a long time since I posted on the forums, good to see they are still going strong. I am looking for a bit of help with an old DJ logo I have that I want to re create. I created this years ago and lost the original PSD file and would like to create one from scratch including my...
Hi All,
I have been away from the PC scene for over 10 years as I have been using a MacBook since 2009. Just yesterday I had to hand my 2019 MBP into Apple for a battery repair and its going to take them 2 weeks to get it back to me. I have been using this as my main work horse for my streaming...
Yeah I am seriously considering building a custom streaming PC but I have been away from the PC market for over 10 years so its all new but having a dedicated streaming rig would be a better solution.
So I dropped the mac into the Edinburgh store yesterday and left it with them. I reviewed a call this morning from them explaining that it is a battery fault and that they need to send it to their repair centre. It' will take 2 weeks!!!
Not happy as this is my main work horse and leaves me...
Its booked in for a replacement at the Edinburgh store on Thursday. I am hoping they do it there and then as this is my main machine and gets used for Dj'ing and streaming on a daily basis.
Am I right in saying that having it connected to a power source most of the time should not degrade the battery?
The machine is my only machine and is my main work horse for day to day work as well as Doing and streaming, so it gets rattled but thats what I bought it for. Hence why its always...
I have have a MBP 2020, was purchased in July last year and as of lately the machine holds zero charge. Your lucky if you get 2hrs out of it. The laptop is always plugged in as just the nature of the work I do its needs to be connected to power 90% of the time but obviously I do use it as a...
So its been years since I even looked at hardware solutions having been on a Mac since 2009, as you can imagine I a way out of touch with what is going on. Rather than try and read up I thought it would easier to post in here (hope this the right section) to ask recommendations for my needs.
I...
Took delivery of this today and must say its a lovely bit of kit for the money. Got everything plugged in charging at the same time. Only thing I would say is it does get pretty hot, well worth it though!
Anyone else ever notice the trackpad shows a lit of wear, especially where you mostly use it with your finger tip?
I have not used this new MBP 2019 model much, only had it a month and as you can see from the picture below its showing wear and when I try and rub it off with a micro fibre cloth...
