That's what I think happened MissChief. What I mean is that by law they HAVE to tell you it is not taxed before you leave the forecourt. Which they did not, wether this means they are liable is going to be pretty woolly I think :-/

If you buy cat6e unmade from a competitor its the same price as good cat5e. That said I have never had such a pain from trying to put plugs on to cat5e as I have with this stuff.
