    Nokia Lumia 520

Bought this phone a couple of weeks back and I'm absolutely smitten. Spent years with an iPhone, the last few months with a One SV and now this 520. I bought it as a stopgap but I think I might keep it. OS is rapid, very few apps I use are missing, games are excellent and the apps supplied...

10 mins in Andriod is a total failure :/

Well, about a week ago I sold my 3GS and bought a Defy. I wasn't entirely sure if it was the right thing to do but in hindsight, I need not have worried. The OS has come on massively (my last android was a G1 on 1.6) and the overall feel once Launcher Pro was installed was far superior and...

    New Build Help!

I know, it's driving me mad! The OS was freshly installed (XP SP3) but I'll try another install. Bios is up to date so that should be okay but I'll try clearing the CMOS. Thanks for the help so far.

    New Build Help!

Hello all. I've recently built a system for a friend and all originally went well however now he says it occasionally freezes and needs rebooting to unfreeze. I've taken the unit back from him and randomly it freezes. There seems to be no logical reason that I can think of? it can run...

FARCRY 2 --- Officially , official of official threads! ---

Gutted tbh. More like 'Just Cause' than 'Far Cry'. Hate the respawning enemies. Hate the lack of proper widescreen support. Hate the monotony of the missions.

*** A BEASTLY discount voucher for you ***

Yep, me too. Just bought a 9800GTX+ from an online competitor with free delivery. The 6% discount from OCUK would have been enough for me to collect from the shop on Monday but unfortunately not to be....

I'd be astonished if there were any overclocking options listed in the bios at all.

The £300-£1250 Tower, Full & HTPC System Weekly Builds Thread

I'd guess at anything above 1280x1024 the E1200/9600GT would be quicker. I'd certainly try to spend a little extra on a E5200 processor though (although then it'd be a £325 system and that's not as catchy:)). Great work by the OP btw.

Spec £400 Build for my son

That E5200 should hit 3.00Ghz on stock voltages just by upping the FSB to 240. Easy and cheap.

Asking a lot here.... £300 gaming system..

Yep, it is possible. I've just built a system for £286 that plays pretty much everything at 1680x1050 on my 22" Samsung TFT. I got: Akasa Zen Case Asus P5QL Pro Motherboard 2GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz Intel E5200 Processor Freezer 7 Pro Cooler XFX 9600GSO XXX O/C edition Samsung DVDRW Hitachi...

Just logging on to check Overclockers have these in stock before I set out to collect one - can't believe it....£252 quid. It was already 15 quid over the odds on other retailers, and now it's 32quid more.... Fleecing loyal customers on in demand products is not a good long term business...

    Pentium4 3.6GHz or Dual Core E2140 1.6GHz

It's a (rather cheap!) Abit SG-95. It supports 800mhz Core Duo's so fingers crossed it'll work okay. Thanks for the incredibly quick responses,

    Pentium4 3.6GHz or Dual Core E2140 1.6GHz

Sorry, I've been out of the loop for a while. Both of the above are approximately the same price, but which would give the greater performance? I know neither are fantastic, but it's to upgrade a 2.6 Celeron PC that needs to be cost effective and also won't be overclocked. It'd be used...
