Depends on the capability of the built in wifi as to whether it'll be as fast.
I am fairly sure most motherboards will have an option in the bios to disable the wifi completely and I can't see any reason your pcie card wouldn't work with the new motherboard.
I'd guess a check on the aircraft rather than training as there is a lack of manoeuvres, training can be done on regular flights and in the sim. Plus the aircraft has just returned from a month off.

My 5900x ran at 90C "stock" on water cause the motherboard lied to the boost algorithms and ran it at about 30% more power than it should. This resulted in a whopping 2-5% performance gain.
This seems to happen on some gigabyte motherboards so check it's not happening with your PBO settings.

This is not true. There are instances where non whitelisted games have increased performance with REBAR enabled. Modern Warfare II performance significantly improved by manually enabling it for me.
