Wago connectors are absolutely delightful. That is a multi choice box of joy right there.

That's great info. I had to relocate similar plugs that I'd bought as they were really whiny. Trouble is some of the usb charger bricks themselves also whine...so incredibly irritating. Ones with indicator LEDs seem to be particularly crap.

    What watch do you wear?

That's a lovely one. Like the two tone hands too, that's a nice touch.

Don't bother with the winder, it's just unnecessary wear on the movement. It'll take you no time at all to wind, set the time and date just don't set the date when it's between 21:00-03:00. This is because manually setting the date in this window can damage the auto date changeover as it may be...

    What watch do you wear?

I think most people would assume it's fake. It's also very hideous.

Ah then Bowmore and Talisker may be worth a try too (the wonders of tasting sets). Kilochman (two of their NAS offerings, yet to try any others) was somewhere in the middle.

Not the person you asked, but I found Ledaig to be a rubbery/car tyre smoke whereas PC is more of an ashy bonfire. Preference for PC therefore.

It'll be past its best, but if it's in a milky drink it'll probably taste fine. The concerns about going stale only really apply if you're going for the snobbier end of coffee, and if you're just wanting a coffee-tasting drink it'll be perfectly serviceable with milk/equivalents.

News to me too. Happy to say the only constant on my wrist is a Garmin tracker, and what changes is the watch I've chosen to wear that day. Yesterday was a Seiko solar diver, and today a pre-ceramic Submariner.

As dLockers suggests, they're often available at a big discount grey more than the likes of Rolex and Omega. Definitely wouldn't be buying from one of their boutiques.

That's a proper fun booze selection. You've got some great bottles in there too. I'm just off to look up Old Monk...

Very good! Certain pubs here serve 35ml shots too (any pubs tied to the Young's brewery for example) but the standard is indeed 25. I do miss the days of pub optics; so many have switched to spout pourers and shot jiggers, but the look of a wall of optics will forever be my idea of a proper pub.

The baller move would be to have the Glendronach, Caol Ila and Waterford on the optics  But in all seriousness, why the optics? Seems a shame to have that good stuff just sitting in plastic awaiting a shot? Liking everything else other than that bit!

I think there was a limit to the power bank I could take on a flight (20,000 mAh maybe), formally on their restricted item list, two years ago though. They didn't check it mind you, but perhaps worth checking just in case they can seize it?

Yes indeed @broona I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Laphroaig - I've been put off by the reviews of that bottle, but need to try it for myself sometime. I like Laphroaig, and I like sherried whisky whether oloroso or PX, and when combined, the peat and sherry often make for a delight.

With the 20% off you may find the Lagavulin Distillers' Edition within reach... that'll be in the similar vein. For completely different I'd go Arran 10 which is well below budget and punches well above its weight. Or for sweet, reliable moreishness Balvenie 14 Caribbean which will be within...
