As I said, literally sold my FE two months ago. I do have almost 200 feeds and never had an issue (selling components for 15 years as well as cameras and other expensive stuff).
No idea why everyone's acting like Ebay is a big scam, is been around since forever and as long as you don't sell...
There's an option to refuse to offer returns.
I mean it's fine, IMO he's only giving away money for no valid reason. Reading this thread it feels like nobody should ever sell expensive stuff on it.
The hell. Why don't you guys want him to make money? Sell it on ebay. Never had an issue.
Sold a 3080 FE a few months ago (was going to play with PS5 for a while and had it since launch) for 1650£ on Ebay.
Anywhere else you'll make less. Just avoid selling to people with less than 50 positive...
If you have a 3080/3090 it's easy to get it for "Cheap", got mine for 30£ from reddit.
Really underwhelmed by the RT implementation.
So far I only enjoy reflections in games, because when AO and shadows are done properly, the difference with RT is just too subtle.
3070s aren't that rare. Almost every day somes card pop on different retailers. Just keep an eye on all of them and within a week I'm sure you'll get one...
Even Odyssey looks better (the water at least) and runs better.
It's about GPU usage though, it's not as high as it should (doesn't use more than 240W on a 3080). Something wrong with the new DX12 version of Anvil.
It doesn't stutter as much as the DX11 though...
There's something wrong with the GPU usage in this game: percentage wise it's normal, but the power draw is way less than it should be (240W max).
It doesn't stutter as past AC games, but there's no way I should be barely above 70fps with a 3080 at 1440p.
It seems like most crashes are caused by VPN disconnecting (Nord VPN in my case).
Is anyone's GPU being used properly? I see high usage but it never goes above 240W (while it should reach about 320).

This is the first DX12 iteration of Anvil Next engine though, new drivers should have some sort of impact.
Combat is so bad (just played an hour) I might focus on bows and just try to skip as much of it as possible ._.
He praises unique environments and story though, so I'll enjoy that part at least.
Also having the same random crashes (while using Nord VPN).
On top of that, I think new Nvidia drivers are needed. My 3080 doesn't go above 220W. It runs as well as I'd expect an AC game to run...
Combat is the real issue though, don't know how but it feels much stiffer than Odyssey.
It's the fastest card available (3090 price/performance is not reasonable). That makes it also the best for high-refresh rate games. Doesn't scale as well, but still, it's not like there's anything faster even at 1080p.
Just anecdotal evidence about the unprecedented demand: I sold my 2080 on Ebay yesterday for 450£ (was lucky to get a 3080FE last Monday).
The auction only lasted 3 days and had 51 watchers after the first day alone. Never seen that much interest on a GPU.
Honestly is minimal.
Stock 320W for 1845 Mhz at 72c using 0.975v.
Undervolted 305W for 1920 Mhz at 72c using 0.875v.
Fans spin lower, otherwise temps would be better. I could definitely improve things further with minimal fps impact,
but I'd rather have both Overclock and...
I received a 3080FE yesterday and so far I settled on 1920@ 0.875v.
I followed the steps recommended here:
Lowered core clock to -290, then grabbed the dot at 0.875v using the voltage/frequency curve editor and brought it up all the way to 1920.
It's rock solid on Control and SOTR with...
