Another idea is the Minisforum AR900i, which has 4 M.2 slots combined with an embedded CPU.

Displayport 2.1 is needed to display 4k 240 Hz without compression as 60 Gbps bandwidth is required and DP 2.1 manages 80 Gbps.

Definitely look at an ultrawide monitor. OCUK have a large selection between £300 and £400 here.
