At least it should be with DHL to Ireland. I decided to save a few €€€ and went with the XT, so fingers Xed they can get DHL to collect today/tomorrow.
Re: Haribo: There should be a none/alternative veggie version option anyway.
@Greebo, it's not just the products that go out of stock, also jellies and packing materials.
One of the reasons I usually go for a 1000W+. Even if you don't need it a) it's nice to have the reserve and coverage of spikes and b) the fan usually kicks on less or not at all.
Things are a bit in flux at the moment, it's the same with HDR support and the new AutoHDR feature in Windows, things are breaking.
I'm putting in feedback for the windows team and the odd AMD driver bug report.
A huge fix in this new driver: I can now get UHD at 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 with HDR at 100 and 120Hz. Game mode switches in and out perfectly and no more blank/corrupt screens or slow/no detection. (6900XT). Fantastic.
I was having lots of connection issues, even driving me to try different cables...
What model/spec? We have a 2700U based laptop and it runs the latest few releases of the s/w (at least from Feb) without issue. Is the laptop BIOS/UEFI the latest? Did you try installing the chipset driver seperately?
I agree with the OP - in addition given the over-inflated prices of cards today, at least we get something more by having the extra memory on board. Can you imagine these prices with only 8GB?
Leave it run without undervolting for a bit to check if it's that causing the issue? Then tweak it manually if all is stable at the nomal setting. Each chip is different and maybe the auto doesn't quite work for yours/your PSU is not stable/smooth (output) enough or something else in the build.
Yes. MS, Sony, AMD, nVidia and the display/HDMI reps plus need to get their top people in a room and make this work seamlessly - then tell the studios how to implement it properly. The tech is there, it's just poorlly thought through/implemented
I figured out why HDR at vanished, something switched it from full-screen back to borderless and thus game mode was activated - which it seems (stupidly) it needs to enable it for games, even though the desktop is also in HDR mode (per the TV and Windows). Sigh, so much work still needs to be...
