Bugger. Yet to watch and it's a shame as the first series was particularly good.
I had wondered if this would be the case with series two, because one of the characters in series one really made the show.
Agree! I think it's brilliant, coming to the end of the original seasons. Was debating finding the later version, but you've confirmed my fears. :(
I was skimming Amazon and trying to avoid spoilers but couldn't help noticing the poor reviews for the latest; looks like they ballsed up. Gutted.
Suburra, finished Season 2 last night. The TV series builds up to the film of the same name. It's got me hooked, consistent throughout without any duff episodes so far.
Justified, onto season 5 now and for me, its ranking as one of my favourite series of all time. I just like the humour...
I watched all the episodes. It does go a bit weird.
The first raised so many questions that were left unanswered; season 2 is needed (doubt I will watch it mind).
You've named two of the greatest, Bullitt and The French Connection.
The Bourne Identity films (Matt Damon), all have quality car chases. Quantum of Solace has a great opening sequence.
The Omen 1976 9/10
Watched again and still one of the greatest horror films. It's in my top favourites along with The Exorcist, The Twilight Zone, and The Shining.
The child actor who played Damian just made this film. Also, Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, add that gravatas.
Curious whether The...
Agree with @Martynt74 the order doesn't really matter, the film drew me into the series.
It depends on if you would like to know the outcome first or the back story and build up to the moment. It works either way from what I've seen. If you watch the film first, it's 2 hours of your life...
Suburra Netflix
Was weighing up trying this or Romanzo Criminale another Gomorrah, Sicilian Mafia type series.
Went with Suburra having familiarity with characters from the film of the same name, plus the film is quality.
This series is based on events leading up to the film of the same name...
I've just picked up Starship Troopers, watched it once in 1997, thought it was great and recently got a hankering to watch it again! Good to know its aged well!
Suburra (2015) 8/10
Produced by the makers of Gomorrah, and it lived up to expectations. It took me a moment to dial into what was...
King of New York (1991) 6/10
Gangster thriller starring Chrisopher Walken. The style and music just reminded me of Rocky 5 of the same period (89-90). Music and fashion haven't aged well.
It's a film of spot the recognisable faces! The annoying ginger bloke in CSI who takes himself far too...
I never bothered and this was taken in 2022.
49" ultrawide and arm - quite a bit of weight and the worktop hasn't bowed. Same setup as above; apart from the gap is 130cm.
Smaller screen now, widescreen boxed away for that wishful day I set up a racing rig.
Bruce Willis raised the issue with Apple a few years back, questioning the ownership of an iTunes library and if it can be left to his family.
Apple's stance was the same as Valve, the account is tied to the owner.
I always fancied NEC screens but never bought one. I used one at work years back and really liked it!
Currently a Dell U2412M for retro gaming,
Not a gaming monitor (60hz) but decent colour accuracy. The colours in GTA Vice City really pop and runs 1600x1200.
Although earlier versions had...
Reptile (2023)
Benicio Del Toro stars in a cop thriller which I enjoyed but it is a slow burner! I don't mind and would watch it again but can see why it gets mixed reviews. 6/10
@Subzero85 I have been debating whether to try Twin Peaks as well. I remember the hype at the time, and it intrigues me.
Better Call Saul, which was excellent, quality remained consistent throughout. Memorable and likeable characters. I had watched up to the final series but forgot the plot...
