I have enabled modem mode on my vom superhub and connected it to my pfsense wan connection Pf sense doesn't seem to detect the IP address and I cannot browse the net Any ideas?

yeah i suppose it could go in my normal switch and just set the gateway, dns etc as pfsense?

ah that may be a good idea, i suppose i could add assign an extra network card to the vswitch0 to increase bandwidth? i was going to connect a wireless ap to one of the ports so wireless traffic is handled by pfsense also, would i have to create a separate vswitch for that to? Thanks!

thanks at the minute it has created a vlan within esxi just showing the one card, would i need to create seperate vlans for each port? thanks again

Hi I have just installed a 256gb samsung 830 ssd, it is showing reserved space which i assume is for the swap file e.t.c. but win7 has also assigned a drive letter to this, is this normal? my previous ssd didnt do this Thanks very much

thanks very much i am using the 256 gig samsung 830 ssd for my main os and important programs then my 80gig intel 25m for files along with my 2tb storage drive do i need to enable caching or anything? or use any other drivers apart from the windows 7 ones? thanks

Hi I have just placed an order for a samsung 830 256gig ssd I have a gigabyte mother board which only has sata 2, is it worthwhile purchasing a sata3 pci-e adaptor or will I not notice much difference? Thanks very much
