He always has to jump on the bandwagon though. It's funny how these youtubers never come out and tell is this stuff while they are receiving free products off them.
What R&D costs do they have? They just seem to have the exact same layout inside blocks with different tops on them.
They do look the most the best imo. Just the price has skyrocketed. I even remember good service from them when. I first started watercooling with my gtx970.
Edit - it doesn't...
I had a cable not be upto scratch for a while about 10 years ago. It didn't represent as a fizzy screen or less resolution. It was more like very slight lines moving down the screen, barely noticeable but once seen impossible to unsee. I bought a new monotor but thay didnt fix it. A new quality...
Deterioration is not normally a jump like you have noticed though.
When doing the work you have done on the gpu have you removed and replace the backplate each time aswell? If so I take it everything was fine back there.
Silicon that the die is made of can just deteriorate and start to get hotter gradually. This would mostly be caused by use. Mining is suggested as the biggest cause because it's 100% use all the time. Gaming is harder on the gpu than mining though. It could even be a driver update has made it so...
In my opinion uninstall the software that is controlling the fans and set it in the BIOS. Then you should get no conflicts. Hopefully somebody can explain how to do thay for you because I am hopeless at that.
Did all the thermal pads look squashed down enough when you removed the cooler? I can't remember where I saw it or what gpu it was for but I saw somebody mention thry needed to add them springs you sometimes get on gpu screws to add/increase tension.
It co6ld be the mount. Just try giving all the screws a little extra turn. Otherwise I'd suggest it could be the pads you put on.
Maybe the paste you used is one meant for benchmarking and needs replacing a lot more often than normal mx5 etc.
Yea I think it is vertical gpu orientation. I'm looking at the fractal terra for my next case but just don't like the wooden panel they all come with...
Yea nr200 is a great case. One thing I found when I had my gpu air cooled and in the classic orientation ( not vertically mounted ) inside it was that is was better at cooling when i had the glass panel on rather than the vented panel. I have 2 slim fans on the bottom so with the vented side...
Is there an easy to view list of 4080 supers and compatible blocks? All the ones rhat I can find seem to be available blocks but scarce gpus or the other way around.
Thought founders editions where meant to be cheaper than the rest? They seem to cost a big chunk more. Even still how dp you get...
Nah I had some velcro tabs that I started using a while ago and they just make things so much easier. Just pull them off when you want to remove them rather than unscrewing them. I have 4 layered 2 on top of each other. Plenty of room.
I didnt realise the v2 was made for the AiO.
I'm on the fence whether to get a fractal terra but that silly "I'm sophisticated, look at me" wooden panel on the front puts me right off.
