finally got around to starting gasaraki (had the box sat on my shelf since before christmas.. go me!), and i watched the trailers..... anyone seen the tekken or sin movies? looked kinda cool

think thread needs some more ninja scroll pimping! if you're just getting into anime this is one of the films you need to watch (along with the likes of akira, ghost in the shell etc). It's, not suprisingly, a ninja based film... set in feudal japan, really well done & really entertaining...

any idea when dvdboxoffice etc will get the updated disc's in stock?

i liked appleseed, cell shading annoyed me though (cos i hate it) and i loved casshern... especially the fight scenes!

only anime ive managed to watch is dead leaves.... one of the weirdest anime's ive seen, yet its pretty cool... only 45 mins but worth a watch stack of films to watch, not enough time to watch them :(

slayers next is cheap as well... shame i'm out of shelf space for dvd's :p (plus ive got a stack of dvd's to watch already)

hmm.... glad i didnt pre order it now any news on a european release? maybe they'll put normal subs on? grr.... now i want the new edition :p

do you need to have seen FMP to understand any of full metal alchemist? I've yet to see either /hides also.. is there a FMP box set about / due? i dont fancy spending £14 for disk's of 4 episodes and the yanks getting appleseed in the cinema :eek: /hopes it appears in the uk cinema

yea, dvdpacific... although the price for gasaraki has gone from 13 quid upto 30ish now

hijack time my gasaraki arrived today :D seems there prio air mail is just over a week... not bad for £6.50 w/ 8 dvd's ...now all i need to the ability to stop time so that i can watch it :p

princess mononoke is a great film... ghibli's best imo well worth a watch

sounds like most of DBZ :p .. i did like the buu saga DBZ though.... not too keen on the other ones...

loved macross plus & macross zero... but £73 on a series without knowing much about it is a bit much for me

the anime films are great to watch... the live action one, well, only reason to watch it is to perv at kylie :D
