My gearbox has exploded in my 2012 l322 and while I will drop it and replace it the time has come to accept that it is not reliable enough to be my daily driver.
Other half drives an Octavia vrs estate so we have a bigish car, and I plan on keeping the Range Rover once I have time to get it...
Be warned though hobby gets expensive. Binoculars led to a scope, that led to a bigger scope, that led to another scope and a camera.
Still learning the photography side of things. https://www.instagram.com/josh_astrobarnsley/
Id recommend a pair of binoculars. I’ve got quite a few scopes, including quite a nice astrophotography rig, but starting out I had many years with a pair of binos and think that was the best way to explore the sky on a budget.
celestrons and a tripod would be my recommendation...
You can do a lot more than .22LR at some indoor ranges. I'm a member at one where you can shoot pretty much anything up to but excluding .50cal indoors (can actually shoot .50cal black powder there). I do shoot a lot more 22 than anything else though, cheap and semi auto can be more fun.
If...
Depends a bit on what budget means to you. My first "proper" telescope was a skywatcher 200p dobsonian. These go for around £400, plus you will end up spending a bit more in the future on eyepieces. Will give you great views of the moon but also planets and once you get your eye in deep space...
I've just been to pick up some fuel for lawnmower, knew filling a jerry can would result in some abuse. Sure enough some guy screaming at me for being selfish. Politely (well maybe not so politely) told him that it was inconvenient to bring my ride on to the petrol station and to mind his own...
When driving from the north, I often park in East Finchley. There are lots of nice residential streets which are free to park within 10mins of the tube station, I park on a road just off the A1.
Just to add to all of the posts saying it can be complicated in terms of tax, we went through this recently with an employee living in Jersey. Turned into a huge mess and he is now paid as a consultant rather than an employee. Make sure your HR team actually know their stuff and get advice...
I've got a 2011 plate RR 4.4 V8, bought it a couple of years ago and currently at about 70k mileage.
Its a great vehicle, but don't expect reliability! The amount of little electrical gremlins you can get with them is the main issue. I have one of the icarsoft diagnostic machine and it is...
Awesome drill for the money. Had one for years and still going strong. A mate bought one for work, think he has replaced it once over the years but still great value for money compared to say a makita of comparable powet.
Pee dance? Is that a thing? :-)
Im going to move the greenhouse and build a patio in its place, resurface the driveway etc. Might put something to block access to the grass like stone or plants, or even just raise the border a bit, although maybe a trip hazard. Patio where greenhouse is will...
There was a time when people had the common sense to turn around on the driveway not the grass.
The hundreds of other delivery drivers that have been have managed it.
Anyway, just filled the ruts with a couple of bags of topsoil. Will come back in spring.
