I was queue position 20 last Friday and just got a shipping email for my Gigabyte Eagle. I was 129th in the first queue email, and ordered at 14:31 on launch day.
What a shambles. Glad to be out of here - provided the damn thing works!
Yup. I was originally 129th when I ordered at about 14:40. Last update I was still position 70ish.
I'm gunna be jumping onto a 6800XT when the AIBs release theirs next week. Screw nvidia and screw OCUK for this launch.
It might be part of AMD's conditions to avoid bots buying up cards by not releasing the URLs of the cards before launch.
That's just a theory I'd heard though.
I feel pretty similar. Still waiting for my Eagle, even though I was only #125ish in the queue at the start I'm still only mid 60s in the queue.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get myself a 6800XT instead, but I don't want to cancel my 3080 order. I don't want to seem like a scalper, but I'll...
Pretty similar to me to be honest. I ordered a 3080 Eagle from OcUK, was originally about 129 in the queue so I was hopeful of getting one in reasonable time.
But so far there's been hardly any sent out by OcUK. I'm sure it's not all their fault, but the lack of proper communication, the full...
That's me!
I put a bunch of things for my new build into my basked ahead of time so that I could just add the 3080 when they went live and skip multiple delivery charges. I've since gone over the required posts for free shipping anyway, but I did ask them to split my order so that I got the...
Apologies, I should have been clearer. I meant that we can infer info from one of OC's competitors based on their table.
OC's [lack of] information has been attrocious.
It's not that vague. They show how many people are in the queue for each card and whenever they update it we can infer how many cards they received and shipped (at most, some cancellations will probably be in there too).
I think it's to do with the way they manufacture them. From what I gather, they don't have parallel production lines but instead they swap production between the various models and run that for a few days/a week before switching to produce another type.
The competitor with the order table isn't getting many per shipment either though. It seems they received 32 MSI 3080s (across two types) and 42 EVGA's (across 5 types) - and a few of those numbers are probably actually cancellations too.
Still, at least they're giving out info which is better...
I hadn't heard much about them until relatively recently either, but they are a good make and they also have a 5 year warranty on their drives (if you register etc).
As @Gray2233 says, aim for the non-Q if y ou can but otherwise there's no reason not to pick up a good deal.

To be honest, there is a good argument for pointing the Advertising Standards Authority at OcUK over their 30 series status page https://www.overclockers.co.uk/NVIDIA-30-Series-Status because it seems to contain misleading or incorrect information (or at the very least assertions...
Ha, love it. :D
I don't think it's unreasonable for us to be asking for estimates. I know some people will use an estimate and scream bloody murder if they don't receive it by then as if it's set in stone, but the fact is we've had no information at all with even the vaguest of guesses when...
