I got the same issue when changing the display cable but when I unplugged my monitor from the Pc my second monitor worked fine and my main monitor still had the white lines down it even when just hooked up to...

Bought a premade 11 months ago and this happens

I actually used an old dvi cable because the monitor only came with a hdmi. It worked fine previously but when I remove the Gpu and fully install it back into the pci slot it then lets me load the computer with the faint lines down it.

Also wanting to know this, my pre build is waiting on a 5900x which is the hold up on it being sent. (If I believe they have sourced me a 3080)

i've got it sorted now, turns out for some reason using my monitor and HDMI cable from the Tele it wouldn't work. Took the computer to my mates who plugged his monitor in and it worked fine, I ended up using a VGA-HDMI connection and it now works fine, 300fps on CS:GO :D

first build Please help Sapphire R9 290 tri-x OC

Does it have to be disabled in bios? I disabled it in device manager, I get no display on my monitor when the graphics card is plugged in. If i go to bios and disable the onboard graphics (not sure how to do this) then plug my graphics card back in i should be able to see it on the display?
