Win 10 clean install, PC crashes frequently

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Looking at various sites it seems people have had this board and older work fine on windows 10, so must be some solution, hopefully these may help

Win 10 clean install, PC crashes frequently

I think bitdriver updated the pci communication. As far as I am aware all drivers are up to date. As for moving to Win 10, it is getting to the point where some games will not run on Win 7 (Lost Ark for example)

Win 10 clean install, PC crashes frequently

Definitely 64 bit. Also a bit of fiddling in bios got the 8gb ram recognised. Not sure best way to get drivers - win update has none in optional, device manager says all are up to date, though some have the exclamation mark (pci simple communications controller) but it is unknown manufacturer...

Win 10 clean install, PC crashes frequently

Hi all, hoping to get some help with an issue my brother's PC is happening. Unfortunately I am not overly savvy with software problem solving, no issue building/moving parts, but once a PC is up and running I am not so helpful. So if any explaining could be done with an idiot in mind, that would...

    Bbq choice?

I have now added Grillstream to my options: https://www.cambridgehomeandgarden.com/product/grillstream-gourmet-4-burner-bbq/ I like the fact that using coal is more integrated in the system (no need for taking the burner 'tents' out) and the double layer grill seems interesting and easier to...

    Bbq choice?

Finally buying a higher quality gas bbq and trying to decide which to go with and would love some input. I am looking at pricier high quality ones that will last rather than ones that rot after a few years. Between Weber and Napoleon I have leaned towards Napoloeon, but I recently saw an...

US: Superman and Lois Lane tv Series (Cw)

The shows I watched seem to devolve into what feels like teen drama rather than superhero shows they were meant to be, so yeah, I tend to give CW stuff a miss now

    US: The Flash (2014)

It will probably be a good first season to lure you in, then become total crap like the rest. Legends of Tomorrow is the only one I still casually watch, I had to give up on Flash and Arrow.

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

Understandable, I myself don't get much enjoyment with overly open games - Skyrim, Oblivion etc. I get bored playing. I enjoyed BOTW because I didn't think it was all that open - I always felt like I had goals. That said, weapon breaking was definitely a very weak point, to me the dungeons...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

I usually have my bro come over every few weeks for an evening of multiplayer fun, so I have dabbled with a lot of cheapo games, usually grabbing them on sale, most less than £5. Some of the ones we have found entertaining: Nine Parchments (extra amusing with friendly fire turned on) Trine 2...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

FF9 system wasn't a problem (though weakest of all 3), it was just so slow - as in it felt like it took minutes to actually start combat once an encounter was triggered. FF7 Materia system was good, though replaying the game I found myself obsessively moving them around to max them out rather...

    US: Batwomen - 2019

To be fair, the biggest tragedy is also what makes them great. Who knows how they could have ended up if allowed to continue (though I am sure Firefly would have continued as awesome!) I mean if Arrow had been cancelled after 1 season/half season I would have been gutted, it was excellent. Now...

What film did you watch last night?

Hobbs & Shaw 7/10. Pretty much exactly what you expect, so if not a fan of the brainless F&F type films, then one to avoid. But if you are, then this spin off is enjoyable and I will happily watch more in the future. I enjoyed the banter between the leads (though there were a couple times it...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

Interesting, I replayed 7, 9 and X on the Switch. For me 9 was the weakest (I had fond memories of it from back in the day) as the combat was extra slow and clunky. 7 was better but definitely does not stand the test of time, only due to the x3 speed was it even playable. I thought X was...

I was going to buy FFXII, but when I saw SoM on the eshop sale it had to take priority. Like you I played this with bro and friend and as a result the game stands as one of the best ever for me. Also really look forward to playing the Trials of Mana as it is two player (unlike the remake) and...

So sounds like Links Awakening will be a good buy. Glad to hear it, not bought it yet because I am busy with my Zelda marathoning - Zelda and Adventures of Link completed via the Switch NES virtual console, currently working my way through Link to a Past (amazing what I remember about that game...

Was just saying to a friend earlier that the SNES was the era of the big change for consoles - going from a two button set up to the 4+trigger buttons opened up gameplay big time...essentially console controllers haven't really changed from that principle set up since (I think Sega had gone big...

Anyone tried Astral Chain as multiplayer? Sounded like it would add to the challenge but be a lot of fun

*shudders at the thought of Princess Bride 2* don't be going near that classic.
