That’s interesting. I’ll look into throttling and see if that solves my issue. I’ve taken the case apart and I reckon the clearance will be almost 150mm (the specs say 115mm) so that also opens up my options.

Possibly an AIO, as you suggest. If not, I’ll change the case.

I’ve not thought of throttling it, that’d seem like a waste of its capabilities. It’ll be used exclusively for gaming.

I have a 4U case that supposedly can only handle a 115mm cooler height. Are there any low-profile solutions that would handle the heat of a i9-12900K or am I going to have to come up with a different plan? Thanks.

-10 won’t feel as cold as you might imagine, the dry air is crisp rather than that damp cold we often get here. As you say, layers are your friend rather then some massive duffel coat. Unless you'll be standing around, in which case maybe a big coat might be good.

If you haven’t got the Blu-ray, I’d imagine Prime is in HD which might be a better option than SD DVD.

VTOL VR. I only came to this game/sim about a month ago and it's a work of genius from the one-man develpment "team". The fact that it was built for VR only means that it never feels clunky. Coop missions with my brother in the front seat of the helicopter are fantastic.
