Do it!! The pocket doesn't even need power mods for a replacement lcd.. there are even now lcd's with osd that allow you to set screen positioning so it isn't even a case of you getting one shot at getting the alignment right anymore.
Play it loud edition DMG? I got this ips jobbie in mine that is just plag and play!! Does a great job
Alternatively if you are feeling adventurous you could fix its stock screen and add a bivert mod... lots of options on the DMG.
I have no idea, my xbox collection is err.... slim to say the least! This is probably not the best thread to ask but now you got me on google seeing what these things are :D
See how you get on with it! the recent 18fw caused some issues on some devices, ive seen a few bricked consoles come my way so hopefully its just a little glitch and you are all good!
Got to be done... had to help a friend out today and then decided I can't be sitting at my desk with lots of hot things so sitting on the sofa taking pads apart was today's mission!!
Its on my list to have a look at this weekend - I even took it out of the sleve! Right now though im having a beer and cleaning up 40 sega megadrive pads :)
That error is normally related to a failed WiFi ic. It's a glass bga chip with about 300 balls. One of my favourite IC's to replace second I show you a pic..
Here is one I fixed with that same error last week!! I also have an oled on my bench right now that needs some rework again with that...
Yea man I managed to program in a similar console not long ago to a modern samsung TV. I had a boxed Mercury commander (1980 console) plugged her in and played some pong like a boss! Sold it now though and i didnt repair it or do anything to it. Just gave it a clean up.
plug it in already man - you wont know unless you try! A boxed 2000k cant be that common a thing probably worth a few hundred possibly more to the right buyer.
Ahh man, thanks dude, there are genuinely some awesome people out there! Had a random package turn up today from a customer who sends me a lot of switch stuff and in the box is a random present! A genuine copy of Pokemon Blue and a couple of tubes of decent flux... Dude remembered a convo we had...
I do fancy it... although the backlog is still somewhat big... - I have been so busy with the proper job and ill that I have been struggling a bit to find the time... People keep sending stuff and im not getting through it as quick as it is coming in.
Good question - I probably play with the swan the most! Something really cool about that old console! Plus its got a wicked version of tetris! In terms of what to work on probably game gears and switches are what I am best at!
Im going to be hitting the queue fairly hard this weekend gents - Hope to have lots of updates for you. :) - had another load of stuff turn up including a MK1 sms from the USA sent in for repair so we shall see how much we can crack out in the next few days.
100 pages? You need to enable man sized pages my dude! Only 21 pages here! Ill answer this a bit later on tonight with a list of stuff I use on the regular! I started with just a soldering iron and a dream... Now I have all kinds of random stuff, some of it I use all the time other stuff is just...
