I think the 10700k is a 125w TDP and the Cryorig C7 is only rated to handle up to 100w TDP. You won't have a hope in hell of overclocking in that case with that cooler.

I run my monitor at 144hz all the time and to me the desktop experience does seem smoother, even with just scrolling and moving windows around.

Cracking price in the current economic climate, but think I'll stick with my AOC G2460PG for now. Waiting for the S2417DG or AG241QG to hit nearer this price point before I bite.
