Other people have explained it regarding the clio, 19 and megane engines (F7 series), but the Laguna never got F7 engines. Its 2.0 16v guises were a volvo sourced 16V (N7Q) and a later Renault 16V type (F4R - derivative of the clio 172/182 etc engine). Neither of which are compatible or useful...
