Hi guys, quick backstory, graduated in computer science 5 years ago, but last 3 jobs in the last 2.5 years were in IT support and now currently IT engineer.
Recruiter said they saw potential and gave me an interview. It’s for a world leading driving simulation company, working as the...
Hello!
I want to extend my current network in my home to extend my outdoor area. Basically the router to the end of the driveway to the gate is around 30-35 meters away.
And another outdoor area I want it to reach is 10 meters in a different direction.
I don’t think a WiFi mesh system would...
Hi, thanks for the info, is the correct place - Group Policy Management”? I can see what policies are applied to where.
When I try look for the section for wireless network in the group policy - “ Local group policy editor” it comes up with computer configuration and user configuration.
But I...
Heyo,
So, just got a new job with more responsibility Vs my last role as an IT engineer.
Didn’t get to play around with GPOs in previous role but doing so now on a clean newly built laptop hooked to the domain.
There’s an LG tv that’s allows casting, also tried Microsoft wireless adapted, and...
Good morning everyone, I completely forgot as I was too into GoW, just put all your names in the name wheel spinner and the winner is….*drum roll**
@kitkat9933
I will be starting a convo with you later with the redemption code :)
Everyone else gets to play GoW after work as their prize :D
Hey peeps, hopefully this is the best place to put this but I received my collectors edition and also got emailed a second pre order code for the digital content so I’ll use a random spin the wheel to choose someone :D
Code includes Kratos risen snow armour set and Atreus risen snow tunic (...
I've setup some curve settings for different temperatures on the BIOS, although I dont think it works well, or atleast I'd prefer it to be better managed when at load.
Is the DC control a piece of software to download, as I've never heard about it or used it.
At the moment the CPU is sitting...
Well that’s so crap.. this build will be the death of me with all the problems I’ve encountered. Never felt such anxiety lol.
Are there 4 pin connector 140mm fans I can buy that I can just swap on the radiator to get PWM to work?
I had to google what DC control was, but it means that it just...
So, I just finished building my first ITX built with 280mm fans.
The 3 pin is plugged into the 4 pin cpu header.
I’ve downloaded the CAM software but can’t find anywhere to slow it down even with changing the profiles. It shows the temperature and speed of the CPU though.
The 2 fans are...
Defiantly a good lesson for me though in terms of understanding hardware @Threepwood , I don’t fancy changing CPUS for an APU, I figured my 3900x would be a all rounder for gaming and heavy work. For the price I paid last year, you’d expect integrated graphics.
Cheers for the reply, we’ll, atleast it ain’t bad news!
Boy has it been a annoying ride getting the ITX build right, I don’t currently have the time to game and only need it as a study/beef machine for VMS, so I’ll have to find the cheapest possible option until prices drop heavier or AMD...
I decided to move from an ATX to ITX as I changed my desk to a much smaller one and needed a smaller case.
I turn it on, the PSU fan spins for a second, the RAM RGB lights up, the AIO cooler fans and additional case fan both spin.
I try connecting to my monitor with a HDMI and then try with a...
