Are the 12VHPWR failures something us 3090 Ti owners should be concerned about? Have a slight horizontal bend in my adapter but had the card for a few months now with no issues presenting themselves.
I know! I suppose it's a bit of a gamble, however, who knows what pricing and availability will be like for the 4000 series.
Plus I've been trying to grab a 3000 series card since release!
Interesting idea but not something I'd want to do as wouldn't want to mod the case and I don't think there would be sufficient space as a lot of the cables are stashed in there! Thanks for the suggestion though!
Downsized my case and got new fittings/tubing to go for a different colour scheme, well please with the result!
Just need to find an enclosure to fit the Aquaero to.
Hi all.
Recently changed case to a 5000D and have an Aquaero 6 XT sitting on top of the PSU shroud, however, it doesn't look very clean.
Does anyone know of a single slot 5.25" enclosure that would work for display on the PSU shroud?
Thanks,
Paul
I wouldn't worry mate, it's a REALLY hot chip.
Myself and other PC users who have custom water cooling still see the chip reach 70c in Cinebench and 50-60c in gaming. It's a hot boy!
Imagine trying to justify buying a 5900X to run Chrome LOL.
I got a 5800X for £380 from OcUK. Don't regret it. Handles everything I throw at it with ease.
Such a massive upgrade from the X299 system I had in terms of the platform.
I've upgraded to a 5800X and X570 Tomahawk. All set up and it's going good, however, on cold boot when pressing power the system starts up then turns off after a few seconds. When I press power again the PC boots up as normal. Is this normal or is there something I should be checcking?
