Nvidia just dropped their high end card prices by 20%. They are desperate to dump stock asap and the AIB's have the same issue. Google for Jays2Cents video which he launched tonight.
Hey guys, sorry for re-opening an older thread, but I am having this issue as well. It started at the weekend when my main data drive started to have write retry errors. Even though the drive was only a few years old, I figured it must have had it so I attempted to re-format it. After a few...
I'm out. Asus TUF OC position 189. Glad to be off this merry-go-round. This has been a **** show and regardless of whether you think its all Nvidia's fault or not, certain resellers have also played their part in making a poor situation unbearably worse. The fanboys will continue to argue to...
there’s no way OC’s would be ignorant or stupid enough to prioritise prebuilds with 3080’s over pre-purchased 3080’s. All 3080’s regardless of target have to be in a queue as essentially the ones being delivered are already purchased. If I ordered a prebuilt today with an Asus 3080 or similar...
this better not be true. If it is, they are essentially using my money to finance their sales operations. I would expect that ALL 3080/3090 cards are in a queue whether for a new build or not. There is NO justification except greed for using cards which have been paid for up-front for builds...
This. I think I read that the pcie sockets are supposed to deliver a max of 150w each. If you are using one of those 1 to 2 cables, you’ll be pulling more than double that for a 3080
If correct, what about Gibbo’s own words “Yes OcUK takes money upfront and nothing shall be changing there, this guarantees your position in the queue”. I can appreciate if people have ordered my card ahead of me that they should get theirs before me, but how can it be fair for people to queue...
sorry, not sure what you mean with ‘swaps and keeping position’. Are you saying that there may now be more people ahead of me that had ordered a different card but had now swapped to the Asus card? If so, I hope that’s ****** because it’s certainly not fair for those that were already in the...
Trying to tidy my PC internals and was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase individual replacement Type 3 cables for the Corsair RMi850. Ideally what I'm looking for is
2 x PCIe cables (single PSU 8pin to GPU 8pin)
1 x SATA peripheral (single PSU 6 pin to single SATA)
1 x Molex...
Well, thanks to @mickyflinn, I now have another £45 off the cost of the cpu which brings it down to a very VERY reasonable price pre the next gen coming out later this year

You absolute ⭐️ Thanks for letting me know. I’m surprised it’s not indicated on the product page itself, but just checked and I qualify for £45 cash back! Free money !!
Well I've just placed an order for a 3900x. Its not going to be another 2080ti vs 3080 scenario because we already know the specs of the new range. You can wait forever, or be happy with what you have. I got a good price on the 3900x so I doubt I'm going to lose very much if I do decide to...
