Got my E63S in January, paid Hastings around £200 to change from my Megane RS to it for around 2 and a bit months, now I would assume that would mean the renewal would be in the £1500-1600 mark. Nope. £2435. Managed to find £1550 or so on the comparison sites so far but will do some digging...

I tested an M5 Comp and an RS6 before deciding on the E63S and agreed on the points you've made. Would have been happy with any of them but the E63S just felt more aggressive yet practical. RS6 felt a bit too clinical and the M5 was great but I wanted an Estate/SB ideally.

Honestly don't blame you. I'd be the same if this one went the same way, touch wood it's been flawless so far though.

They put in 2 years as standard, negotiated with them to throw in another 2 years and the alloy insurance rather than push them down on the price.

Always been on Michelins with my Megane RS, Super Sport to begin with, then onto Pilot Sport 4S. Since I got my E63S, I've moved onto Continental Contact Sport 7's and they are wonderful so far. Time will tell though, but heard enough good words in various places to make the switch.

She was actually quite supportive, although she's somewhat hesitant to give it a drive herself, late night trips to the local supermarket car park for now :)
