I use kryonaut (thermal grizzly) and have done for my last few builds. Not the easiest to put on but works a treat. Used many in the past, as has been said before, apart from application I doubt the thermal conductive differences are noticeable for most people. Longevity wise, I have never...
I've driven a Taycan Turbo S for a day. Whilst insanely refined compared to the M3, it has a lot of weight and you can feel it when you start pushing it, especially on the brakes. So actually the M3 feels quite sporty compared to it as you aren't having to manage the dynamics of what is a very...
I must admit my Model 3 (2020) has super bright LEDs that point in whatever direction they please. It has been back to Tesla on 3 separate occasions as the n/s is almost always pointing too high (IMO) and they realign it and say it's fine. I am not sure if the OTA software updates reset it or...
Thanks, tried this. 37 mins later told me that the DNS Cloudflare I am using is the fastest for me...perhaps don't bother with the extended/personalised test :)
Picked up a cheap rj45 tester today. Pin 5 on the cable is flashing as broken..all other working as expected. Re-crimped both ends of the cable with new rj45 connectors to no joy.
Glad you got it sorted. Looks like MSI removed it from some BIOS versions under settings>advanced>integrated peripherals
The latest BIOS has it so might be worth flashing to that.
Once you have disabled the WiFi card in the bios, windows cannot reactivate it even if you install the drivers. So first, disable in bios and then boot up windows in safe mode, uninstall any related drivers. Finally, install the new card and it should all work.
I have the same motherboard, I...
Just tried that, thanks, unfortunately has not worked after restarting both UDM and switch. Will run a wired connection indoors to test that GbE is working on both before considering replacing the external cable.
Also forgot to mention have tried switching to different ports on both and no luck.
Quick question please. Noticed last night that my connection from the UDM to the UniFi 8 port switch upstairs has dropped from GbE to FE. It’s a cat5E cable travelling outdoors from outside downstairs to upstairs in the attic.
Visually the cable looks fine (externally) and I’ve replaced both...
Well the engineer came out this morning. Figured that the cable had somehow ‘snapped’ inside the grey box on the outside wall. Put a replacement line in there, everything working perfectly for 12 hrs…until the red solid LOS light is on again! No internet!
Vodafone are with City Fibre in my area not openreach. No telegraph pole to the house, ducts too old to pass a wire through, so BT had to lift bricks up the drive to install originally. I suspect would be the same for another fibre to the house.
I just called BT to cancel my 900/110 contract coming to an end in 28 days. Currently paying £56 due to go up by 14.4% in April.
Offered same service with Xbox ultimate game pass for 12 months all for £41 (starting after the price increase so will definitely not go up until April 24)...
