Turns out the colour thing isn’t an issue. Must just be misremembering from the cinema that first scene on Arrakis when they get attacked by the suited Harkonnen being very orange. Changing the picture mode from ‘cinema home’ to ‘cinema’ does make the colours a bit more muted though.

Get a local TV aerial company to do it for you. I had this issue and a guy came in and plugged in a meter that read the signal (which was crap). He cut me a new bit of cable and it did the job. I think he only charged me £20 or so too (obviously not guaranteeing that will be the case for you).

Apparently they don’t do stereo sound mixes anymore so that’s probably why some people suggest a 5.1 system or soundbar. I find it a bit hit and miss with different films the extent to which this is a problem.
