£25 a week extra on my state pension

25p to £25 is a massive difference though. One will barely get you a carrier bag out of Tesco's. The other is basically a takeaway meal. extra 25p a week is an extra £12 a year? I mean whats the point.

    Advice on coworker's smell

Easy, @Stu999 is the hiring manager. I have no idea how he made it through any interview as once you are within 3m of him, it was very apparent. But then again, the managers you get at those places are normally so desperate for staff they'll take anyone. I do genuinely hope he has got it...

    Advice on coworker's smell

The employer was aware of the reasons as to why and he fobbed them off with a story about his cats each time when it's clear that was not the case. I met this person in 2005, the NHS was in a better state to deal with these things then, he chose not to sort his problem.

    Advice on coworker's smell

Why don't you tell me instead, why it should be acceptable for any human to wee themselves for years and not seek medical attention for the condition. For reference, the guy was 22 at the time when I first met him.

    Advice on coworker's smell

Clearly not, no one suggested such a thing, maybe be best to use some common sense before trying to state I am attacking someone's medical condition. Given this was a problem in the year I spent at a store. Then when I saw him again was after I finished uni, indicating it's been at least 3...

    Advice on coworker's smell

Come across a similar thing years ago, when I was working in a well known fast food restaurant. Full time member of staff there absolutely stunk rotten, nails on his hands were always dirty, here's the kicker of it, he always stunk of wee wee. We had staff who refused to be trained by him...

Best route from Essex to Hampshire over Easter Weekend

A13/12/127 to M25 round to A3 and then drive down is the most sensible option and will always be quicker than coming off at the M23 or Leatherhead and going through those routes. Yes the A3 junction is ruined at the moment, but as for someone who has drove from Southend to Godalming 3 days this...

Does something need to be done about dogs?

Frankly anything and anyone who commits extreme violence and murder upon a human deserves extinction in my view. waited an awful long time to bring this view out. Dont know if I want to jump down this route, as this clearly goes back to believing in removing people based on characteristics...

Does something need to be done about dogs?

If you and your family had been shown to do it time and time again, I am down for you and your "breed" to be exterminated. You live in a world where you believe everything can be fixed by educating scum. I live in a world where I see scum not taking in anyone's lessons, so I work in the reality...

Does something need to be done about dogs?

Classic ttaskmaster, everything else at fault apart from a dog breed with horrendous statistics on violence. Think you live in an ideal world of dogs without the understanding of reality.

Opinion: Started job but can’t afford to travel to office?

Came in, caused six months of unfairness against others, leaves before action is taken against their employment. In one hand, congrats to her for getting in and out and not paying a fortune for travel. On the other, this story is just a horror novel on the risks of hiring people. Hope the...

    Electric vehicle depreciation

More money than sense, but are these the same people who will go off on users on here for suggesting they wont move to an EV? As frankly EV cars are pointless to myself and my job, I'll have to spend an extra hour out of home each day to charge the sodding thing.

Cars with questionable fuel system are now being questioned due to lack of range and lack of holding their price given they need a new system every 10 years. Who would have thought.... Do you have family members you just don't understand? Or even like?

Youngest brother is scum, sorry for the harshness but is just true. So he expects your wife's morals to be worth less than 50k, well what a polite lovely fella he is. I cant actually reply to the full message as I am just full of rage and disgust for such a horrible human.

Do you have family members you just don't understand? Or even like?

Shame to see that most families can be destroyed over the possibility of a couple thousand £'s. Very much like how @potatolord has described, I have seen that time and time again and its just savage and frankly takes a giant **** over any relationship with the mum/dad and other family members.
